Demand for HRIS platforms have witnessed a growth trajectory over the past few years, as more organizations are looking to outsource their payroll processes to third party HRIS software vendors. Due to this, several HRIS vendors have stepped to cater to this requirement. As more HRIS software vendors have cropped up over the years, organizations have become more critical about the selection parameters
According to the respondents, brand image is not viewed as a key criteria for vendor selection. Customers give more weightage to other factors that include feature offering, customer base/clientele and local expertise among others
However, few HRIS software vendors such as ADP, Paycom, SAP, Ceridian, Workday, Visma and Paylocity among others have a fair brand presence in the HRIS software market, and hence it is easy for these vendors to attract more customers. Although, majority of the respondents voted against brand image as decisive parameter, it surely plays a key role in attracting more clients
HRIS vendors with presence in multiple countries certainly have an edge over vendors that do not have an international presence. Internationally present HRIS vendors have a strong grasp over labor laws, and regulatory compliances in each of the countries.
